Vegetables grow well in the Morvan…
I don’t know how these would go in local “big vegetable” competitions, but I think they did pretty well in my “plant it and leave it to fend for itself with a little help from the neighbours” vegetable garden…

Yes, that is a courgette, and perfectly edible (if I confess not terribly tasty) it was too…
Don’t know what these taste like yet – have dried them for a week in the sun and put them in storage for the next visit…
And possibly the size of the veggies has to do with the size of the wasps/hornets…
I don’t know if this was an Asian predatory hornet, but it certainly looked a bit like one.
